We are sad to announce that on June 4, 2019, Sylvia Downey (Rutherfordton, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Buford Vickers and Marybell Vickers; her husband Kenneth Downey; and her brother Millard Vickers. She is survived by: her sisters, Sandra Hughes (Steve) and Mary Grace Waters (Larry); her nieces and nephews, Vickie Abernathy, Crystal Costner, Dwayne Waters, Shannon Colpa, Tony Vickers, Kathy Westbrooke and Debbie Webb; her great-nieces, Kaitlin, Lea and Derick; and her siblings-in-law, Russel Downey and Betty Norville.
