He is survived by: his parent Georgia Stone; his son Timothy Ray Stone; his wife Dessie Stone; his sons, Scott Stone (Sheila) of Bostic and Kevin Stone (Debra) of Rutherfordton; his siblings, Richard Stone of Gastonia and Barbara Quinn of Gastonia; his grandchildren, Nick Stone, Chris Stone, Brittany Stone Pope and Savannah Stone; and his great grandchild Brinley Stone.
