He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas Ramsey and Beulah Robbins Ramsey; and his grandson John Mark Gary. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Childers Ramsey; his children, Douglas Kyle Ramsey (Judith), Rita Ray Gary (Bill) and Lori Lynn Norville (Chuck); his sisters, Nell Brooks and Dorothy Davis; and his grandchildren, Kara Leggett, Chad Norville, Zach Norville, Jennie Doran, Jon David Ramsey, Joanna Ramsey, Jesalyn Ramsey and Becca Gary. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
