He is survived by: his wife Sandra Dalton Hughes; his daughters, Jacqueline Hughes Champion (Scott) and Jessica Hughes Adkins (Aaron); and his grandchildren, Madison Gardinier, Aspen Adkins and Jaxon Gardinier.
