It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Doster (Rutherfordton, North Carolina), who passed away on December 22, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Margaret Durham and Isaac Durham; her husband Paul Doster; her daughter Cheryl Meyer; her son-in-law Greg Hils; her children, Paul L. Doster, Jr. (Laurel), Patricia Murphy (Denny), Kathryn Kirby (Gray) and Ruth Hils; and her son-in-law Andrew Meyer. She was also cherished by 7 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in her memory to Charles House Center for Community Eldercare, Chapel Hill, NC or Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.
