It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sarah Dewey of Rutherfordton, North Carolina, who passed away on August 7, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Luther Ellenburg and Theo Doshie Ellenburg; her husband William Albertus Dewey; her daughter Judy Bradley; her brothers, Grady Ellenburg, George Ellenburg, Harrison Ellenburg, Junior Ellenburg and James Ellenburg; and her great grandchildren, Kyle Short, Thomas Bradley and Synclair Goode.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Daniel Bradley, Sr.; her grandchildren, Cameron Bradley (Mary Lou Guffey), Pamela Bradley-Lee (Trent), Deanna Short (Greg), Wendy English (Reese), Daniel Bradley, Jr. (Josina) and Megan Burchette (Tony); and her sisters, Melvina "Butch" Melton, Mary Moss, Martha White and Lura Wyatt. She is also survived by twenty one great-grandchildren; thirteen great great-grandchildren. And many nieces and nephews and other family members.
