She was predeceased by: her parents, Garland Blake and Vergie Ruth White Blake; her husband Bobby Dean Fowler; her son Michael Shane Fowler; her grandson Michael David Cordell; and her siblings, Warren G. "Shorty" Blake, Dan Blake, Perry Blake, Bobby Blake, James Blake and Louise Weedon.
She is survived by: her children, Bobby Dean Fowler, Jr. (Carolyn) of Rutherfordton, Freida Cordell (David) of Rutherfordton and Susan Ficken (Eddie) of Inman, SC; her sisters, Jane Banning of Rutherfordton and Hazel Walker of Forest City; her grandchildren, Becky Honeycutt (Brian), Mandy Kimbrell (Johnny), Chadd Fowler (Amber), Heath Fowler, Drew and Tori Scroggs; and her great grandchildren, Austin Lancaster, Honeycutt of Montana, Lucas Kimbrell, Brody Fowler, Aaliyah Fowler, Bayleigh Fowler, Finley Fowler and Brooks Nelson.
