He was predeceased by: his parents, David Lee and Mary McManus Kistler; and his sister Barbara Richardson. He is survived by: his girlfriend Carolyn Hughes; his daughter Bettie-Ann Fry; his sisters, Brenda Bouler and Carol Poole (Gene) of Charlotte; his nephew Craig Poole; and his nieces, Leah Callender, Jenny Lijoi and Amy Richardson.
