With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Durward Cunningham (Rutherfordton, North Carolina), who passed away on January 7, 2025 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert Durward Cunningham to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Courtlandt Cunningham and Lovell Cunningham; and his brother Cortlandt Cunningham. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Robert Cunningham II and Stephani Cunningham Ruppe (Anthony); his grandchildren, Katelynn Ruppe, Gwendolyn Earls (Jeremiah) and Evelynn Burch (Nathan); his nephews, James Cunningham (Mary), John Cunningham (Holly), Jay Cunningham (Beth) and Eric Youngs; and his niece Heather Youngs.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Golden Valley Church. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
