He was predeceased by: his father Ray Dean Duncan; his wife Ruby Carolyn Hill Duncan; his son Alton Keith Duncan; and his grandson Marcus Leon Bridges. He is survived by: his children, Sandra Arrowood (Dennis), Faye Bridges (Pete), Martha Searcy (Gary) and Alan Duncan (Barbara); and his daughter-in-law Jennie Cox (Gene). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, and many, many nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Piney Knob Baptist Church (1534 Piney Knob Rd, Rutherfordton, NC 28139). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at the Welcome Home Baptist Church (3531 Painters Gap Rd, Union Mills, NC 28167).
