He is survived by: his wife Ethel Guffey; his daughters, Jean Scruggs (Audrey), Joan Watson (Malcolm) and Lynn Osteen (Terry); his grandchildren, Chad Scruggs (Melanie), Beth Smith (Steven), Jake Watson (Amie), Josh Scruggs (Josie), Tommy Watson (Julie), Timmy Osteen (Jessica) and Emily Mullins (Chris); and his brother Ronald Guffey.
