He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Arndt and Emily Leaventhal Arndt; his wife Geraldine Ann Chierchio; his daughter Katherine Paduano; his grandson Zachary Paduano; and his son-in-law Matt Paduano.
He is survived by: his son John Arndt; and his siblings, Judy Dyer, Frederick Chris Arndt (Eva) and David Arndt (Ann). He is also survived by other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in memory of Peter to The Military History Center of The Carolinas, 14 Airport Road Extension, Greenville, SC 29607.
