He is survived by: his spouse Billy Dean Martin-Rich; his children, Nelson Scott Rich, II of Florida and Tiffany Lynn Rich of Florida; his stepson Michael Albert Hanifan; his father William Donald Rich (Patsy) of Forest City, NC; his brothers, John Mark Rich and Shawn Rich; and his grandsons, David Austin Rich, Benjamin Cole Rich, Donald Wayne Sturgeon, Tyler Lucas Ryan Sturgeon and Kolton Scott Hanifan.
