Though Minnie may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Harris and Adaline Owens Harris; and her spouse Thomas Harold McKelvey. She is survived by: her children, Melissa "Missy" Marlowe (Sam) and Tommy McKelvey (Suzanne); her grandchildren, Zachary McKelvey (Emma) and Hannah Marlowe; her great grandchild Hallie McKelvey; and her sister Yvonne Greene. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Crowe's Mortuary (118 College Ave, Rutherfordton, NC 28139). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Crowe's Funeral Chapel (118 College Ave, Rutherfordton, NC 28139).
