With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Key of Rutherfordton, North Carolina, born in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on October 27, 2020 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Key and Valeria Belle Key; and his siblings, Neal Key, Ralph Key and Brenda Chandler.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Thompson Key; his daughter Michelle Patricia Surran (Peter); and his granddaughter Autumn Rose Surran.
