She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Mitchum and Eva Smith Mitchum; and her husband William Carvis York. She is survived by: her daughter Kay York McDaniel of Rutherfordton; her granddaughter Nicole Koone Holmes of Wilmington; and her great grandchildren, William and Annabeth Holmes.
