She was predeceased by: her parents, Berkley Pryor and Virginia Huntley Pryor; her husband Glenn Frank Short, Sr.; and her son Clifford Wayne Short. She is survived by: her sons, Glenn F. Short, Jr. (Ramona Howell) of Lake Lure and Steven K. Short (Gwen) of Hampton, Virginia; and her brothers, Floyd Pryor (Norma) of Dana, NC and Harris Pryor (Nancy) of Maggie Valley, NC.. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
