She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Brown and Ruth Delashmitt Brown; and her son Dudley Hodge. She is survived by: her children, Deurlene H. Toney (Jerry) of Bostic and Rodney Ralph Hodge of Hayesville; and her grandchildren, Mark Watson of Spindale and Susan Watson of Greensboro.
