She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Crawford "Pete" Bailey and Mary Elizabeth Jones Bailey of Rutherford County; her husband Tommy Edward Buff of Rutherfordton; her son Dennis Keith Wellborn; her brothers, Robert Bailey of Ellenboro, Harold Bailey of Ellenboro and Carl Bailey of Spindale; her grandson Scott Melton of Spindale; and her great grandchild Joseph Wellborn of Inman, SC..
She is survived by: her children, Gloria Melton (Marshall) of Rutherfordton, Judy Epley of Spindale, Robert Wellborn (Linda) of Rutherfordton, Gary Wellborn of Forest City and Mike Wellborn (LuAnne) of Rutherfordton; and her sister Ruth Padgett of Ellenboro. She is also survived by ten grandchildren twenty five great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
