She is survived by: her children, Deborah Gregg (late Gene), Teresa Davis (Michael), Pam Arrowood (Kenneth), Patti Sherrill (Ricky), Julie Scherer (Rus) and James Arvol "Jamie" Thompson II (Amber); her grandchildren, Heather Moro (Chris), Holly Owens (Judd), Sarah Minslow (Steve), Andrew Sherrill (Melinda), Caitlin Despot (Chris), Will Arrowood, Courtney, Nick Scherer, Trey, Tori and Tali Thompson; her great grandchildren, Coleman Sidbury, Connor Owens, Kinsley Owens, Amelia Moro, Carson Sherrill and Parker Sherrill; her siblings, Joe Wheeler (Joyce), Rachel Flint, Jean Holt (Donnie) and Freda Austin (Ronnie); and her close friend Precious.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the McMahan's Funeral Home (249 S Main St, Rutherfordton, NC 28139). A memorial service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel (249 S Main St, Rutherfordton, NC 28139).
