With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret J. Kesterson of Rutherfordton, North Carolina, born in Peterborough, Eastern, who passed away on January 3, 2023 at the age of 95. She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy and Rose Dixon; her husband J. D. Kesterson; her daughter Becky Morgan (Don); her sister Jean Slywn-Smith; her grandson Jason Kesterson; and her son-in-law Wayne Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Sellars (Alan) of Waynesville, NC, Linda Allen of Forest City, Rob Kesterson (Teresa) of Sumter, SC and Scott Kesterson (Callie) of Forest City; and her brother Tony Dixon (Pat) of England. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
