She was predeceased by: her parents, Clater Guffey and Cora Willis Guffey; her former husbands, Charles William Hopper and Graham Louis Johnson; her daughter Karen Hopper; her stepsons, Randy Johnson and Perry Johnson; and her brothers, C. B. Guffey and Jack Guffey.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa H. Flack (Mike) and Charlie Hopper (Lhen) of Rutherfordton One; her stepson Richard Johnson (Nona) of Rutherfordton One; and her sister Linda Bryson of Boiling Springs. She is also survived by Nine grandchildren Six great-grandchildren.
