He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Higgins and Hazel Hardin Higgins. He is survived by: his wife Margaret H. Higgins; his sons, Gary Higgins (Karen), Doug Higgins (Heather) and Monte Higgins (Shelly); and his cousin Kay Lail. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
