It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Laverne Justice of Rutherfordton, North Carolina, born in Collettsville, North Carolina, who passed away on November 28, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Roby and Violet May Davis; her husband Richard D. Justice; and her siblings, Howard Davis, Glen Davis and Geneva Medlin.
She is survived by: her brother Hayden Davis (Linda); her children, Donna J. Stephenson (Mike), Jack D. Justice (Deborah) and Dee Dee Justice; her grandchildren, Bethany Sorrell (Scott), Zachary Cox, Stafford Cox, Davis Stephenson, Zeke Stephenson (Anna Kate), Savannah Davis, Lauren Davis and Jenna Davis; and her great grandchildren, Alaia, Fletcher Cox, Everleigh Sorrell and Beckham Davis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, masks will be required at the service.
