She was predeceased by: her parents, Vassey White and Mattie Toms White; her husband Winfred Hoyle Owens; and her sister Marylove Burgess. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Owens of Rutherfordton and Steve Owens (Gina) of Rutherfordton; her grandchildren, Brandon Burgess, Josh Burgess and Alexia Owens; and her great grandchild Raegan Burgess.
