She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Vickers and Lucy Johnson Vickers. She is survived by: her husband Bobby Owens; her son Jonathan Owens (Melissa); and her grandsons, Hunter Owens and Peyton Owens.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McMahan's Funeral Home (249 S Main St, Rutherfordton, NC 28139). A graveside service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Oak Springs Baptist Cemetery (2501 Rock Rd, Rutherfordton, NC 28139).
