He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Guffey and Annabelle Ruff Guffey; his wife Opal Lee Jones Guffey; and his sisters, Joan Walker and Patircia Pierson.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Wall (Bryan), Deborah King (Randy) and Steve Guffey (Sharon); his siblings, Calvin Guffey (Anne), Roger Guffey (Suzy) and Mary Lois Geer (David); his grandchildren, Brian Taylor (Amanda) and Kayla King Burchette (Phillip); and his great grandchild Presley Jade Taylor.
