She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Carroll and Cora Mae Fowler Carroll; her husband Raymond L. Crook; and her brothers, Grady Carroll, Marvin Carroll and Howard Carroll (Bill).
She is survived by: her children, Jane C. Lail of Forest City and Connie C. Summer (Garry) of Shelby; her sister Iva Jane Wall of Forest City; her sisters-in-law, Angelina Carroll of Mocksville, NC and Lucy Carroll of Forest City; her grandchildren, Joshua Lail (Deana) of Rutherfordton, Marcus Lail (Susan) of Bostic, Nicholas Crook of Charlotte and Lara Wrightson (Josh) of Anderson, SC; and her great grandchildren, Bryson Lail, Makayla Lail, Caleb Wood, Gracelyn Lail and Katharine Wrightson.
