She is survived by: her husband E. C. Shehan; her daughter Sandra Wilson Dobbins; her brother C. H. Saine; her grandchildren, Kevin M. Dobbins (Nikki) of Bostic and Susan D. Prairie (Tommy) of Rutherfordton; her great grandchildren, Alex Prairie, Philip Dobbins, Jordan Prairie, Kensley Dobbins, William Henry Condrey and Jacob Camby; her sister Hazel Saine Whisnant of Winston Salem; her nieces and nephews, Gail Oldfather (John) of Indiana, Leslie Jordan (Mary) of Arden, NC, Karen Spangler (Kevin) of Winston Salem, NC and Jeff Whisnant of Texas; and her sisters, Myra and Dot.
She prayed every night with her roommate who suffer from Alzheimer's.
