He was predeceased by: his parents, Ova Shook and Carrie Shook; his wife Marie Shehan Shook; and his siblings, Pender Shook Jr., Jerlene Lewis and Mary Belle Mace.
He is survived by: his daughter Angela Cooper (Doug); his brother-in-law Martin Shehan (Rose Ann); his sister Betty Shook (Gerald Bastarache); and his granddaughters, Julia and Lillie Cooper. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
