He was predeceased by: his spouse Sherry Belcher Lail; and his parent James Lloyd. He is survived by: his parent Grace Olean Turner Lail; his children, Jeff Lail of Columbia and Tammy Duggins (Greg) of Spartanburg; his siblings, Tracy Gene Lail (Maryann) of Rutherford County, Patricia Kay Scruggs (Tom) of Spartanburg and Jo Ann Laughter of Rutherfordton; and his grandchildren, Jessica Edwards and Justin Scott Lail.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sandy Springs Baptist Church Children and Youth Fund, 382 Sandy Springs Road, Rutherfordton, NC 28139.
