He was predeceased by: his parents, Dillard Nichols and Martha Nichols. He is survived by: his wife Aleta Nichols; his children, Valerie Lively (Darrell), James Nichols (Kim) and John Nichols; his grandchildren, Alexandria, Hannah and Elyse; and his great grandchildren, Kamdyn, Hudson, Kinsley and Havyn.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Gilkey Church of God (181 Oak Springs Rd, Rutherfordton, NC 28139).
