He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Jr. Holland and Frances Holland; his wife Shirley Head Holland; and his brother Larry Holland Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Jackie St. Clair (Victor) of West Virginia and James "Jamie" D. Holland Jr. of Rutherfordton; his siblings, Marilyn Propst (Vernon) and Ricky Holland (Diane); and his grandson Hayden Cheek.
