He is survived by: his children, Amy Jarrett (Keith), Pete Godfrey Jr. (Ann') and Greg "Peachie" Godfrey; his grandsons, Chase and Aaron Godfrey; his great grandchildren, Alexis, Korbin Godfrey, Clay and Channing Godfrey; his siblings, Russell, Curtis Godfrey and Linda Arrowood; and his daughter-in-law Shari Godfrey.
