He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Skipper and Cordie Huntsinger Skipper; his close friend Joann Bridges; and his siblings, Jerry, Ben, J. C. Skipper and Kathleen Lynch.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Loretta Newton of Forest City and Danny Bridges of Spindale; his siblings, Sherry Gragg of Shiloh and Robert Skipper of Ellenboro; his grandchildren, Kayla Dills, Rusty Bridges, Erika Robbins and Christian Toney; and his great grandchildren, Easton Robbins, Korbyn Robbins and Colton Bridges.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations are requested to Harrelson Funeral Home, 1251 US Highway 221a, Forest City, NC 28043 to help defray funeral costs.
