She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Melton and Genie Murray Melton; and her siblings, Earl Melton and Martha Toney. She is survived by: her son Danny Norville (Donna) of Bostic; her granddaughter Kristen Rodgers (Rob) of Forest City; her great grandchildren, Annistyn and Jameson Rogers of Forest City; and her siblings, Wilma Robertson of Bostic and George W. Melton of Apex.
