He is survived by: his wife Joyce Taylor Hill; his children, Jessica Painter (Matt) of Belmont, Thad Hill (Jamie) of Rutherfordton and Clint Hill (Robin) of Rutherfordton; his sisters, Annie Belle Hodge (Harvey) of Rutherfordton, Jean Morgan (late Dean) of Rutherfordton and Leisa Greenway (Doug) of Rutherfordton; his sister-in-law Janelle Hill of Forest City; his brothers, Steve Hill (Helen) of Rutherfordton and Charles Hill (Diane) of Forest City; his grandchildren, Morgan Hill, Peyton Arrowood, Noah Hill, Jesse Arrowood, Logan Hill, Sophie Hill, Mallory Painter, Caroline Painter and Claire Painter; and his friend Chris Long.
