We are sad to announce that on December 26, 2022, at the age of 80, Gladys Irene Melton of Rutherfordton, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard James Ruff, Sr. and Rose Norman Ruff; her husband Mark Melton; and her children, Anna Thompson McAbee and Tony Thompson.
She is survived by: her son Barry Thompson of Rutherfordton; and her brother Bill Ruff of Mill Spring. She is also survived by four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
