He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Charles F. Heider, Jr. and Nancy Heider. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his daughters, Whitney Johns and Kelley Heider; his grandsons, James and Jasper Johns; his sister Cindy Heider Kaliff; his son-in-law Doug Johns; and his pets, Helsa and Hayley.
