He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Gale and Phyllis Jo Leis Roller; his wife Penny Poland Roller; his children, Tim Roller (Alison) of Greenville, Matt Roller (Janet) of Forest City and Rachel Roller Mode (Jason) of Forest City; his brothers, Reg Roller (Karla) of Sidney, Bruce Roller (Judy) of Sidney and Steve Roller (Amy) of Chillicothe, Ohio.; and his grandchildren, Sarah, Hannah, Caroline, Sam, Darby, Jake, Caleb and Ella.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cornerstone Fellowship (Mission Work in India), 1186 Hudlow Road, Forest City, North Carolina 28043.

“It was my pleasure to work with Gale at the hospital. He was always friendly, professional and caring. I remember fondly him seeing "lost" patients trying to exit out the side door. He would speak to them in his fatherly tone and guide them back to where they belonged. He was admired by all that knew him. My sincerest condolences to his wonderful family.”
