She was predeceased by: her parents, Lowrance Whitlock and Eva Marie Bradley Whitlock; her siblings, Tommy Whitlock, Max Whitlock, Howard Whitlock, Garland Whitlock, Ted Whitlock and Grace Whitlock Pennington; and her granddaughter Dallas Marie Brooks.
She is survived by: her son Keith Ward (Susan) of Union Mills; her brother Vernon Whitlock of Myrtle Beach; and her grandchildren, Maranda Love Maxey, Melanie Love and Dustin Brooks.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Union Mills Presbyterian Church (6130 Hudlow Rd, Union Mills, NC 28167). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at the Union Mills Presbyterian Church Cemetery (6130 Hudlow Rd, Union Mills, NC 28167).
