Eugene left this world on January 12, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dock Shehan and Truly Bennett Shehan. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Ann Blanton Shehan; his children, Chris Shehan (Ursula) of Simpsonville, SC and Karen Duncan (Mark) of Forest City, NC; his grandchildren, Josh Duncan, Sarah Shehan, Anna Duncan and Jason Shehan; and his sister Debbie Georges of Piedmont, SC..
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Padgett King Mortuary (227 E Main St, Forest City, NC 28043). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Padgett & King Chapel (227 E Main St, Forest City, NC 28043).
