She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Hunter and Ann Smith Hunter; her former husband Robert Collins; her husband James "Jim" Buchanan; her siblings, Doris White, Pearl Lail, Elizabeth Buff, Franklin Cannon, Donald Hunter and Grover Hunter Jr.; and her stepson Eric Buchanan.
She is survived by: her children, Johnathan Collins (Wendy), Nickey Collins, Becky Collins (Billy Gardin) and Robert Michael Collins; her stepdaughter Lori Buchanan; and her close friend Donald Glenn Woody. She is also survived by five grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
