She was predeceased by: her husband Jim Cathey; her parents, Richard Flowers and Millie Flowers of Andrews, NC; her sister Betty Holland; her brother-in-law Chuck Holland; and her son-in-law Steve Logan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Michele Logan of Moore Haven, FL and Marti Cathey of Rutherfordton, NC; her granddaughter Rachel Julian Bland (John Bland) of Union Mills, NC; and her great grandchildren, Jordan Bland, Ava Bland and Raelyn Bland.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church-Rutherfordton (224 Chimney Rock Rd, Rutherfordton, NC 28139).
