She is survived by: her parents, Joe Hempstead and Olivia Hempstead of Fayetteville; her brothers, Dennis (Charlotte) of Lumberton, Joseph of Charlotte and Keith (Jeannine) of Durham; and her uncle Charles (Juanita) of Frisco, TX. She is also survived by numerous cousins, along with a host of beloved nephews, a niece, grand nephews and grand nieces.
