She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Leroy Godfrey and Nellie Mae Emory Godfrey; and her son-in-law Keith Hardin. She is survived by: her husband Phil Scism; her children, Johnny Scism and Gidget Hardin; her grandchildren, Ashley Hardin, Cody Scism, Katelin Scism and Elizabeth Hardin; her siblings, Billy Godfrey (Debbie), Cindy Yelton (Jerry) and Lynn McCurry (Ricky); and her friend Sasha.
