He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Fields and Truly Anne Fields; and his wife Janice Mynes Fields. He is survived by: his daughter Wendy Lynn Wiseman (Michael) of Taylorsville, NC; his sisters, Panola Lucas and Vangie Edwards; and his grandson Hunter Alexander Wiseman.
