She was predeceased by: her parents, Young Smith and Christine Smith; and her sister Elizabeth Smith Abse of Charlottesville, VA.. She is survived by: her husband Britton Howell Lowry; her brother Young M. Smith, Jr.; her children, Christina Morgan and Britton Brinkley Lowry; and her grandchildren, Wade, Allen Morgan and Jessah Lowry.
