It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Pruett Jr. of Rutherfordton, North Carolina, who passed away on August 24, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmel Pruett and Mattie Hill Pruett; his siblings, Dot Bridges, Bobby Pruett, Lois Doggett, Charlie Pruett, Janice Brown and Billy Pruett; and his son-in-law Lars Petersen.
He is survived by: his wife Lina Pruett; his daughters, Doris Vroman (Gordon) of Vista and Carol Susan Petersen of Newton; his brother Ray Pruett of Forest City; his grandchildren, Lars Petersen, Susan Countryman, Anna Petersen (Ray Williams) and Adam Vroman; and his great grandchildren, Addison Petersen, Remi Vroman and Lexi Vroman.
