With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Camilla Edgerton of Rutherfordton, North Carolina, who passed away on October 16, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Reba Jones Hodge; her son Hoyle Harris Edgerton Jr.; and her brothers, Jethro Hodge and George Hodge. She is survived by: her children, Jane Edgerton Whiteside (Darrell) and David Edgerton (Carolyn); her sisters, Elizabeth Simmons of Tallahassee, FL and Brenda Daugherty of Melbourne Beach, FL.; and her grandchildren, Harris Edgerton III, Gray Edgerton, Ransom Edgerton, Johnnie Byers, Jordan Edgerton, John David Edgerton, Camie Thomas and Ryan Whiteside.
